Greetings. I'm Jonathan from Hartford CT (the city proper), GWaspM, 61 yo, 5'7", 140#, BR/BLUE with an average build (38c, 30w, hairy torso - not a Chelsea boy), HIV-. Perhaps a bit naive for these cynical times, I don't smoke, drink or do drugs. I work for myself as a real estate agent, property manager and handyman. Free time finds me enjoying movies, theatre, classical music & concerts, gardening, biking, hiking, NYC, Boston and world travel. I'm looking for a relationship with a romantic, caring, supportive man who has a sense of independence, without pretense, who can laugh at himself, who still has his inner child, who has an overall positive attitude about life - and, of course, there’s no accounting for chemistry. I think of myself as a romantic - enjoy hugging, kissing, cuddling and, yes, sex (although I don't think of this as my strong suit but I enjoy learning what pleases). While I don't claim to watch much TV (but I really do), I do like Glee, Revenge (my new guilty pleasure), Parenthood, Nashville, Modern Family, Amazing Race, Masterpiece (Downton Abbey anyone?), The Good Wife and Smash (perhaps the best network show out there); these shows are the perfect distraction while I’m on my elliptical trainer 7 mornings a week. Recent movies I've enjoyed include ARGO, LINCOLN, THE SESSIONS, THE INTOUCHABLES (I'm an art house cinema kinda guy). I try to read the NY Times daily (never quite succeeding) as well as several monthly periodicals and make time for some books; have recently read and liked WISH YOU WERE HERE, THE HELP, PROBATION (terrific gay novel), CUTTING FOR STONE, BEHIND THE BEAUTIFUL FOREVERS and THE MARRIAGE PLOT. My radio is tuned to NPR, my cars are cheap, my clothes are not designer and my house is far from finished, but I'm having a good time - although I like to think sharing it with someone - perhaps you - would make life even better.
